Hello! My name is Danny Sanchez, I was born and raised in Arizona. I am currently in my senior year here at ASU where I’m earning my Bachelors degree in Biology. This is my upcoming fourth semester at ASU, after completing my Associate’s degree in Biology at Estrella Mountain Community College. I have always had a strong passion for biology, and throughout my academic career, I have developed a strong interest in marine biology. I have a deep love for the ocean, and it is so interesting to continue learning about the various aspects of marine life, and how the environment is changing and adapting. This is my first opportunity to work in the lab environment and I am very grateful to be a part of the team!

Research Interests

I have a strong interest in marine biology and am excited I can do that at ASU! Gaining hands-on experience in conducting research relating to marine biology is the perfect opportunity for me to express my passion for the field. This research project specifically interests me because it focuses on the study of how ocean acidification has affected the marine environment. This is an important issue to focus on and this project will give me valuable data collection experience that I will use throughout my career.
